Günther Wittmann
After having studied electrical and information engineering at the Technical University of Munich, Günther Wittmann was engaged at a renowned research institute in the area of ASIC design for integrated silicon sensors. Thereafter, he joined a global player and was responsible for software development, image processing, and design of cameras. Subsequently, he was engaged in the area of telecommunications and mobile cellular communication systems.
The technical expertise of Günther Wittmann includes almost the entire field of electronic engineering, medical engineering, mechanical engineering, image processing, optics, automotive, aeronautics, technical physics, MPEG7 etc. The main emphasizes of his practice as patent attorney is drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office and the WIPO including appeal proceedings and opposition proceedings as well as drafting expert opinions. His filed of activity also covers patent infringement proceedings and and utility model infringement proceedings. His practice also covers nullity proceedings and utility model cancelation proceedings. Günther Wittmann also practices in the area of trademarks and design patents.
Günther Wittmann speaks German and English. He has also basic knowledge of French and Spanish. He is member of German patent attorney bar association, GRUR, FICPI, EPI, VPP and the association of Bavarian patent attorneys.
